Just got back from RSBC 10 days ago, I had first week at Sunset Harbour, then the second week at RSBC. I have been with Global/Sunterra/DRI since 1995, and although I have holidayed at RSBC a few times, this was the first for 8 years. (I originally bought at Sunset Bay)
It was still everything that I used to love - we had a great time. I have read all the comments about the increase in Management Fees, but the new sunbeds were great. There was absolutely no comparison with the Harbour, where there were too few beds, too many broken, and far too few umbrellas, especially given the heat. (The new beds were on the DRI apartment balconies, but no mattresses, at least on our's).
It was great to see John again, but sad that Chek wasn't there. I thought the standard of the food at the poolside bar wasn't what it used to be.
(I would recommend 44 Regent Street at Sunset Harbour, where the green banana guide gets you 10% off the food, and the local beer is very good at 1.50 (which is the same as RSBC)
I am unfortunately on DRI points, which are proving very expensive at the moment, with little sign of improving in the near future.
I was lucky enough to speak with Eric while we were out, and I think what he and this site are doing is great!!
I think I would encourage RSBC owners who are struggling with fees, to do whatever they can to keep their weeks out of DRI's hands, for the sake of the club. As a (DRI) member who pays over £1000 for points which don't buy 2 weeks in a 2-bed at RSBC in the summer, I will certainly look to rent weeks via this site in the future, subject of course to availability.
Sorry for putting comments on as a guest, but still considering myself as a Sunset Bay owner, and hoping one day to be a RSBC owner, I will be subscribing soon!

I was on holiday at RSBC in August/September this year, and was disheartened to see the small number of members who stayed on site to watch the entertainment. The exceptions to this were Thursday nights (traditionally party night) and Bank Holiday Monday. On this night the entertainment team staff had a ‘Dive-in movie’ where they kept the pool and pool bar open, held a barbecue and shown a movie. This was extremely well attended and was hailed as a success. (Well done to Alan and Carl for arranging this at short notice!). We need to look at more innovative ways of entertaining members and encouraging them to stay on site. Bingo and dancers don’t always do the trick!! Eric

Hi Eric
I agree with your comments, the barbecue and pool bar and pool open what a good idea.
I may add that over the years i refuse to listen to bad singing acts and three girls trying to dance, and some crap loud Karaoke singing
Thats the reason we go to Soul Divine for a night out.

Eric not everybody wants to stay in the resort every night. I for one will certainly not be, no matter what the entertainment is, howver If you have kids then the resort is ideal and the entertaiment is family orientated.
Personally if I wanted to holiday like that I would book an all inclusive package holiday which would probably be cheaper anyway as the bar prices do not encourage you stay in resort either.
If the choice to stay in the resort and watch the "entertainment" is there then fine but remember it is a choice and not a stipulation and members are free do to what ever they want and may not want to be "encouraged" to remain on site.

I think it's probably meant to be "Divine Soul", a new club down in Veronicas opened by Joe Harriot who owns the "Soul Suite" down at Parq De La paz.
Live Motown Music such as the drifters, temptations etc. If it's anything like the soul suite it would be a very good night.
