My sister has been staying at RSBC this week, using our week which we couldn't use this year. The resort was full and she said the latest problem is that some selfish people are taking the mattresses off the sunbeds in the evening and taking them to their apartments, in order to ensure they have a sunbed the next day where/when they want it. Why the resort can't remove the mattresses at night like they used to stack the old beds is beyond me. They have the same sunbeds and mattresses at Sahara Sunset and when we stayed there in May there was no problem at all with people removing mattresses. Also you apparently have to get up very early these days in order to get a sunbed.
Also surprising is that you can also book weeks via Expedia, which means anybody can now stay at RSBC and not just members/family/friends.
I am going to email Anne Bennett about the sunbed mattress problem and will let you know what she says!

yes it was with the lower apartments, people are very selfish and should no better...Anne Bennett did reply saying she is aware that unfortunately some guests are selfish and have no thought for others, but that it didn't appear to be causing a problem at the moment, however she would keep an eye on it and take action if necesary. She also confirmed that weeks are for rent via Expedia, these are owned by DRI who apparently pay maintenance fees as we do.
My sister did say that RSBC was as full as it could be when she was there, but that the restaurants and bars outside the complex were very quiet, also when they arrived and went to get a taxi there were hundreds of taxis waiting and no queues! Very odd!
Enjoy your holiday.

I have seen the Tenerife visitor figures for the last 3 months and they show a 10% drop,it will be interesting to see how many families travel out next week,i think not so many will be coming to Tenerife.
