The sunbeds look comfy, they'll be a great addition if they make lazing by the pool more comfortable. We'll let you know when we come back after the New Year!

Very nice, but a total waste of money, there is nothing wrong with the sunbeds we currently have at RSBC, having seen a huge increase in management fees this current year I would have thought the committee would have been trying to keep costs down this year. It is interesting to see the amount of weeks for sale at RSBC now at very cheap prices, no doubt people are getting fed up with people thinking that because RSBC is a popular place to own the management think they can take us all for a ride!

wot a waste of money , !!! , wot about improving the security for the young ones , why not get a wrist band for them ?? which sets alarm off when they go near any exit , ok this will cause alot of headache for both parents and staff but i think i would rather hear the noise of a child's wristband going off near the exits than saying OH MY GOD WHERE IS MY (SON/DAUGHTER !!) WOTS MORE IMPORTANT , OUR KIDS WELL BEING OR OUR FAT ARSES !!!

HI
Hi i thought it was the parents responsibility to look after their own kids instead of laying on their fat arses.
Just take a look next time how many kids are in the Jaccuzzi unattended.
I suggest people read the rules regarding children running around at the resort.!!!!!!!

Having owned at RSBC since it opened i have sampled all of the sunbeds at the resort.I can say that the green ones we have had for the last 4 years have by far been the most backbreaking ones i have experienced.I pay my fees and expect the best at the resort, well done to the committee for bringing in a better sunbed, after all if you go to a decent hotel you would find mattresess on the beds. PS; The resoprt is not soley for the use of famillies, they are older people to cater for,and they find the beds uncomfortable. If you like the green ones so much ask the reception to save you one,i am sure they will oblige.!!

Dear All, Nobody is saying that we should not have new sunbeds with nice matresses as this would help the older member who cannot get about the island. What i am saying why should we have to pay £246.83 for each sunbed surely there are chepaer ones maybe a plastic one with a matress, because don't forget we had to pay 18.26% management fee increase and according to the committee and as this was a neccessary increase because of the state of the euro and yet they still go ahead and spend 58,800.00 euros on these beds Eric

I beleive it is spelt Bah !!! ;D ;D ;D ;D.
Eric; if the shelve life is 4 Years they cost £60, if a cheaper version lasts 2 Years we have to buy again.I will ask Ian how the cost was worked out. I know from being at the resort in October a lot of the regular members were all moaning about the state of the beds even the newer green ones.

May I suggest that member "Barney" keep his derogatory remarks about other members to himself and stick to meaningful posts.

Hi
Thanks for your last comment,it seems some people cannot enter a civil disscussion.I have week 42/43 in October and i will gladly discuss the matter face to face with the person concerned if they have the same weeks.
I have also the names of the members if you require them who moaned not only of the sunbeds being rubbish, also of the pool not being heated.Myself and another member had a meeting with Ann and after investigation they found the pool heating was not working properly,it took all of week 42 to get the pool back to normal.I believe we did not moan about this, we took the problem to the resort manager, also we did highlight to her that some of the sunbeds were broken.
As a member i reserve the right to act when i am at the resort and not to moan, after all the resort is for all of us whatever the age group not just for famillies.

Hi Eric Just returned from the resort, the feedback on the sunbeds was very positive from all at the resort.I must say from my point of view it was a pleasure to sit on such comfortable beds at last and not go home with an aching back. Ann Bennett says that she also has had good reports from all visitors. Dave PS; The Gym is still shut on Thursdays and Fridays.

Glad the new sunbeds are well received, no doubt there will be a glut of spare ones later in the year once the management charges have gone out and people realise they can't afford to pay the fees! I've never seen so many weeks for sale/free of charge as there are now. I still stand by the fact I would rather have the original sunbeds and more reasonable management fees!

Great new sunbeds with nobody to use them!!! At least there won't be a rush to put towels on them in the mornings. Personally I would welcome cheaper management fees. If anybody wants my week 19 they can have it for nothing.

Hi
I also asked that question around the pool about having lower fees, quite a few owners said why don't they stop the Refurb programme and save money. I aslo noticed even though it was the quiet period that not a lot of sunbeds were free.
I have also heard on the grapevine that Diamond are snapping up all the spare weeks from non payers,so points people will be offered more time at the resort.
I still expect to fight for a sunbed in October, get ready for a 5% rise in fees this year, thats the betting at the resort last week.

We have 126 apartments 200 sunbeds if royal sunset beach club is full ,and wel have approximately two people to each apartment that is 252 people and only 200 sunbeds that means 52 people will have to lie on the floor. Eric

I think due to the refurb we should be ok in the short term,i believe Ann said that they will order more when required.
I think Ann has some stored under the pool, you may need to ask Ann.
Dave.

I doubt we need to worry about 200 not being enough, the amount of people not paying their management fees this year should mean people can have 3 or 4 sunbeds each!
